Thank you for the taking the first step towards healing and creating a life of peace! As a therapist I deeply care about my clients and want them to be seen and heard in a safe and non-judgmental space. In my practice I strive to build on your strengths, resources, and encourage you to build the life you want. I symbolically hold your hand and carry the burdens of life with you until you are able to move through them and past them. You matter and you challenges matter! I want to assist you in living your best life with meaning, contentment, and peace.
Welcome to therapy! I focus on serving teens, adults, and families using a collaborative approach in therapy. I specialize in childhood trauma, grief, chronic medical illness, anxiety, depression, and relational problems. I am a LGBTQIA+ ally and support individuals and their families during transitional times.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, allowing clients to move at their own pace while honoring the wisdom of their bodies. Utilizing a blend of person-centered therapy, psychodynamic techniques, and mindfulness to help clients explore their past to navigate present struggles. By emphasizing the mind-body connection and incorporating mindfulness and meditation, I aim to foster holistic healing.
In our sessions, I strive to create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment where clients can freely express their concerns. Together, we work towards their goals, drawing upon their strengths, resources, and coping skills to navigate life’s challenges. Therapy is a journey of self-discovery, where clients are seen, heard, and accepted without judgment.
I am committed to supporting my clients every step of the way, offering guidance and encouragement as they explore their path to healing and growth.
